Hi, I’m Jean.
This is me. Hanging with a monkey at Gumbalimba Park in Roatan, Honduras.
I love to travel. And I LOVE to plan. Sometimes, the planning is almost as good as the trip itself (almost!).
I’m the one who plans the family vacations and the friend trips. Travel planning is my love language.
Tell me where you want to go, and I’ll dive headfirst into research. Where to stay. What to do. Where to eat. How to get there.
I genuinely love it. Planning a trip, for myself or someone else, brings me joy.
Planning the First BIG Trip
I offered to take my son anywhere he wanted in lieu of a high school graduation party that neither one of us really wanted. I left it wide open and had no idea where he would choose.
He chose Australia. AUSTRALIA!
My inner planner went into high gear. Australia. Not just a country, a whole continent. So. Many. Possibilities.
My husband and I agreed on our budget and I did what I love to do. I researched. I planned. I presented ideas to my son and made adjustments - it was his trip, after all.
13 days. 3 cities. Lots of activities. Tons of memories.
Sydney —> Port Douglas/Cairns—> Melbourne.
Climbing the Sydney Bridge at sunset
Seeing the Blue Mountains
The Great Ocean Road
Penguin Parade
Great Barrier Reef
…to name a few
It was in planning this trip - in finding the places we would stay, the flights we would take, the ways we would get around, the restaurants that my picky eater would enjoy, the activities that would leave us both with lifelong memories - that I realized I really did have a knack for this. I was good at planning trips. And trip planning really lit up my soul.
So, here I am. An educator by day, a travel advisor at night.
If you’re ready to take that trip you’ve been thinking about, I’m here to plan it for you.
That means….
Listening to what clients say between the words
Paying attention to the details
Researching deeply
Planning every trip like I’m planning for my own family
